Job purpose
The Project Director will lead the full lifecycle delivery of the program, overseeing strategy, governance, execution, and stakeholder alignment. This role is responsible for directing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with project objectives. The position requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and extensive experience managing complex projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a PMC environment.
Duties and responsibilities
· Lead overall project strategy, governance, and execution from inception to completion.
· Oversee planning, design management, construction delivery, and handover activities.
· Ensure compliance with project objectives, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
· Direct multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve performance targets.
· Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and quality standards.
· Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and progress updates to senior leadership.
· Lead stakeholder engagement with authorities, government entities, and external partners.
· Resolve escalated issues, interface conflicts, and delivery risks.
· Ensure alignment of project phasing with development goals and land-release strategies.
· Drive value engineering, lifecycle optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Maintain strong governance across commercial, procurement, and technical functions.
· Perform related duties as assigned by the Line Manager
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
· Highly preferred: Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
· Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, MRICS, PgMP) are highly preferred.
· Demonstrated expertise in construction management, project governance, and mega-project delivery.
· Minimum of 25 years of experience in large-scale construction and development projects.
· Mandatory experience delivering major projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
· Strong background working in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
· Comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle—from inception and design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

· Perform related duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
