About the Role:

Brisbane 2032 is calling! Shape the city, shape the games. Do you want to be at the heart of a global event and create a vibrant legacy for generations to come?

We are looking for a seasoned Project Director to join our Athletes Village team and lead a complex, city‑shaping project. As the Project Director, you will be the driving force behind the project’s strategic direction and delivery. You’re responsible for ensuring the project achieves commercial, design, sustainability, and placemaking objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of the project in line with project requirements

  • Leading a multi-disciplined team of property development professionals

  • Managing feasibility, business cases, sensitivity analyses and funding approvals

  • Act as primary liaison with government authorities and client stakeholders

  • Facilitate authentic community engagement and communication

About You:
You will be a strategic thinker with broad knowledge across development, project management, commercial strategy & construction. You will also have:

  • 10+ years’ experience leading large‑scale property developments, ideally mixed‑use

  • Strong commercial acumen with proven success delivering major development outcomes

  • A background in inspiring teams, collaborating in a matrix environment, and building trusted relationships

  • Tertiary qualifications in property, business or related fields

  • A local network across industry, government and market stakeholders
