Job Description

Würth Elektronik is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Development Intern to support our Design-In Sales and Project Management teams. This role assists with coordinating customer design projects, managing samples, and supporting communication between engineering, sales, manufacturing, and other internal departments. The intern will help ensure customer requirements and project timelines are tracked accurately while gaining exposure to technical product development and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project management and Design-In Sales teams with customer design opportunities and project tracking

• Assist in responding to customer requests and maintaining high customer satisfaction

• Enter, update, and maintain accurate customer project data in company operating systems

• Help coordinate sample requests for standard and custom products while following quality procedures

• Assist with cross-functional communication between sales, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams

• Support tracking of project timelines, releases, and shipment coordination

• Assist with research, reporting, documentation, and special projects as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Interest in technical products, manufacturing processes, or customer project coordination

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred)

• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
