Purpose / Objective:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Development Head for our Real Estate division in Ahmedabad The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading the development of large commercial-led real estate projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory bylaws, and implementing best-in-class leadership for safety, quality, and construction management. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving the growth and success of our real estate projects.

Experience:

• 25-30 years of Experience in Large Infrastructure Industry. Experience in building Mall, IT Park, is preferred
• Experience of handling multiple projects at the same time
• National and International exposure for Commercial Real Estate Projects

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Project Development Head will be:

• A leader and captain of the ship integrating cross-functional teams, motivating to deliver with highest quality, speed, safety, compliance, and stakeholder management
• Ensure deep understanding and adherence to development and regulatory bylaws, project designs, and approvals
• Expected to manage all aspects of project including but not limited to inception, planning, budgeting, statutory & legal approvals, Management of Consultants, Contractors, Vendors & Suppliers, Complete execution
• Provide best-in-class leadership for safety, quality, compliances, and construction management
• Oversee and direct the project teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Document management & controls, RFP process, Cost Control & Management, Vendor management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, construction, legal, and finance to drive project success
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing project timelines and costs while maintaining high-quality standards
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and external partners
• Lead from the front to deploy the digital initiatives for Project execution
• Implement Group Digital and Innovation initiatives to drive execution efficiency
• Ensure stakeholder management with Local Municipal corporation, Development authorities for Building plan approvals, Fire and Safety Departments
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Project Delivery roadmap to handle various project deliverables
• Develop project budgets, track expenditure, and periodically discuss with finance team to ensure total compliance to budget
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges
• Contribute to the overall strategic planning and growth of the real estate division

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Head of development for large commercial-led real estate projects of 2-3 Mn. Sqft. for a single project
• The total projects completed in the career should be a minimum of 10 Mn Sqft.
• Deep understanding of development and regulatory bylaws, project designs, and approvals
• Best in class leadership for safety, quality, compliances, and construction management

Education Qualification:

• B.Tech / M. Tech / from a reputed Institute recognized by UGC
• MBA / PGDM in Business Management from a Prime Institute

Certification required:

• Industry-leading project management certification(s) such as PMP
