Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and direction to junior designers and work in collaborative teams

• Responsible for the production or supervision of conceptual and schematic
level drawings, renderings and diagrams.
• Direct development of innovative design concepts with project teams to
produce constructable solutions.
• Responsible for exterior material research and selections and construction
detailing to maintain design intent throughout the design process.
• Responsible for leading client facing and internal design presentations and
charrettes.
• Perform early programming and loading capacity studies.

• Interface and collaborate with interior designers and landscape designers for
cohesive overall designs
• Work with internal and external visualization designers to produce best in class
renderings and animations
• Help in the production of quality design awards both locally and nationally.

Qualifications

  • Professional Degree and/or Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or related field and 8-10 years of experience in a project design role; licensure preferred.
  • A strong portfolio highlighting professional work experience; strong ability to multitask and pivot quickly between projects; knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
  • Proficieny in Rhino, Sketch-up, Test Fit and other 3D modelling software; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Revit and AutoCAD and sketching skills a plus
  • LEED or WELL accreditation is a plus
  • Excellent written + verbal communication skills, client and consultant relationship management
