At Transgrid, we play a crucial role in delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy to millions of Australians. Operating over 13,000 km of high-voltage transmission lines and 128 substations across NSW and the ACT, we connect electricity generators to the distribution network powering homes, businesses, and communities.
Every high-voltage line and substation TransGrid builds starts with a plan and someone accountable for turning that plan into steel in the ground, safely, on budget and on time. That's this role. As Projects Delivery Manager, you'll own a portfolio of prescribed capital works projects end to end, lead two teams (Project Managers and Project Engineers), and be the person the business turns to when delivery needs to move. It's a senior, hands-on leadership role at the centre of one of the country's most important energy infrastructure programs.
Capital delivery is where TransGrid's strategy either lands or stalls. Every kilometre of line and every substation upgrade this role delivers feeds directly into the reliability of the grid and directly into the corporate KPIs and efficiency targets the whole business is measured against. Get this role right, and the impact is visible at a network scale, not just a project scale.
At Transgrid, we empower our people with a well-rounded benefits package designed to support their personal, professional, and social well-being, helping them deliver their best work every day. Employees have access to a range of corporate discounts across retail, utilities, travel, health & wellbeing etc., as well as novated leasing options, workplace flexibility, 20 weeks paid parental leave and more. Beyond benefits, we believe in real development and progression. Here, you'll have access to regular and ongoing training, tertiary education support, and career mentoring, enabling you to build a career that evolves with you.

We’ve ensured the smooth operation of over 11,517 km of high-voltage transmission lines and 136 substations and switching stations across NSW and the ACT, with interconnections to QLD and VIC.
Our most crucial work is leading the transition to Australia’s clean energy future. The traditional coal system that served our country for decades is nearing the end of its life, to be replaced by wind and solar generation.
We’re making the right decisions now to prepare for the opportunities and challenges ahead – a changing climate, population growth and technology innovation.
As we lead the way towards a more resilient future, we’re working closely with our customers and communities to make sure no one is left behind.
Wherever you are in NSW or the ACT, you can be confident in the reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity we transmit as we make a better power system for generations to come.
