The role

As a Project Delivery Business Partner, you support the continuous improvement of the Project Delivery process in Sweden and contribute to effective governance and support. The role promotes consistency, quality, compliance, and adoption of project delivery processes and tools across the business.

The Project Delivery Business Partner supports the Project Manager Community through guidance, communication, and capability development, and contributes to audits, governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Act as Project Delivery Business Partner for WSP Sweden, supporting the business in Project Delivery Excellence.
  • Maintain, administer, and continuously improve the Project Delivery framework, including regional processes within the Management System and related governance structures.
  • Serve as Horizon Regional Process Lead (RPL) for Projects, driving regional prioritization of enhancements, collaborating with SMEs, and ensuring regional requirements are represented in platform development.
  • Maintain and develop the Super User network, ensuring an effective support structure and strong user capability across the Projects business.
  • Drive the development of the Project Manager Community through communication, guidance, knowledge sharing, training, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Support and participate in internal and external audits, including activities related to ISO certifications and compliance requirements.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company processes, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and promote the Technical Discipline Framework and other project delivery governance initiatives.
  • Travel as part of the role may be required on an occasional basis, primarily within Sweden.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving continuous improvement and leading improvement initiatives. You have experience working as a Project Manager and/or Project Director, with at least 5-10 years of experience delivering projects within the infrastructure and built environment sector.

We also believe that you have:

  • A university degree in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Economics, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of and practical experience with project management principles and methodologies based on PMBOK or a comparable framework.
  • Proven experience in quality management related to project management processes.
  • Experience in internal or external auditing is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Location: This position can be based at any of our WSP offices throughout Sweden.

What we offer

At WSP, Project Delivery Excellence is central to delivering successful outcomes for our clients. As part of a broader global and regional transformation journey, we are continuously strengthening project delivery through aligned practices, streamlined processes, enhanced capabilities, and the sharing of best practices across our global network.

As a Project Delivery Business Partner, you will be part of the Regional HSEQ team, working closely with business leaders, project managers, subject matter experts, and fellow Regional Process Leads across the region. You will also collaborate with global peers and project delivery leaders across WSP, contributing to the evolution of our frameworks, processes, and digital platforms while ensuring that regional and local business needs are represented.
