Job Title: Project Crew
Department: Multiple Site – Lower Mainland
Reports To: Project Crew Supervisor
Hourly Rate: $27.75

About the Role:
To provide light duty, heavy duty, secondary, follow-up or specialized cleaning services based on the requests by clients or internal operational requirements. Duties and responsibilities Includes but are not limited to.

What You Will Be Doing
• High dust of common areas nightly, secured areas as directed.
• Deep carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning and extraction using appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Pressure washing at exterior and interior locations of building as directed.
• Stripping & waxing of floors,
• Experience in operating propane burnisher, auto scrubber, swing machines and carpet extractors is required.
• Perform ancillary cleaning tasks as directed by management.
• Perform support work within the Warehouse environment.
• Experience with working at heights (high exterior window cleaning) required.

You have
• Previous experience in operating heavy duty cleaning equipment is required.
• Experience performing professional custodial or cleaning duties in high-traffic public spaces is considered a significant asset.
• The eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s).
• Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) is not required but considered an asset
• Fall Lift Certification an Asset
• Experience working with heavy duty janitorial equipment (Auto Scrubber, Swing Machine, Carpet Steam Cleaners, Burnishers, Scissor Lifts)

Work Requirements
Successfully passing a Criminal record check and ability to obtain the Enhanced reliability security clearance.

Working Conditions
Working hours may include day-time cleaning based on client availability 8:30am - 5:00pm. Schedule to include 5 days per week work with 2 weekend days off, unless overtime is approved due to client need. Hours may range 20-40+ hours per week. Travel outside of the lower mainland and across Canada (Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon, and rural areas of British Columbia may be required either via driving or flight arrangements).

Physical Requirements
Candidate should be comfortable with working at heights, able to maintain physical activity for duration of shift, and should be able to lift 50 pounds. General duties consist of repetitive but light duty physical tasks. Periodically, more physically demanding tasks may be required as part of a team engaging in floor refinishing, snow removal, carpet cleaning, etc.
