As Project Coordinator, Technology Services, reporting to the Program Manager, ConnectTO, you will support initiatives that advance digital equity and enhance the public Wi-Fi experience across City of Toronto community spaces.
ConnectTO is a Council-directed initiative that aims to improve digital connectivity for all by providing public Wi-Fi in City of Toronto community spaces, reinforcing the City’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and improved access to digital tools and services.
Working with City divisions and community partners, you will help strengthen signage, activation, and engagement at public Wi-Fi sites while using research and data to support informed program decisions. You will also contribute to briefings, updates, and program materials for senior leadership and Council, linking implementation progress to KPIs, outcomes, and Council direction.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape a high-impact digital equity initiative and turn public Wi-Fi infrastructure into a more accessible, welcoming, and user-friendly City service.
We are seeking a resourceful and collaborative professional who is comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, translating research and data into practical recommendations, building awareness and support for program initiatives, and bringing people together to advance shared goals. Experience working with technology-related initiatives is considered an asset; however, technical IT expertise is not required.
