Job Description

Tamworth or Armidale Based

HealthWISE is mobilising a new workforce within a short window and we are looking for a Project Coordinator who knows how to deliver at pace. This fixed‑term role is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering a high‑volume recruitment and onboarding program, bringing together workforce planning, recruitment operations, compliance checks, training logistics and site readiness to ensure new staff are ready, supported and confident from day one.


You’ll join a purpose‑driven organisation known for working collaboratively, supporting flexible ways of working, and delivering programs that matter across regional and rural NSW and QLD. If you’re highly organised, deadline‑driven and able to confidently coordinate across multiple stakeholders, HealthWISE offers a supportive environment where your project expertise will be valued and your impact will be immediately visible. This is a critical, hands‑on role for someone who thrives on turning complexity into action.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
