The Role

Reporting to the Project Fulfillment Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customer-focused engineering projects from initiation through to delivery and installation, while supporting purchasing activities and supplier coordination. This role is based in Annesley, Nottinghamshire, UK, and operates in a hybrid working model.

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused Project Coordinator, Buyer, or Operations professional who enjoys managing multiple moving pieces within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.

Working as part of a close-knit team of six, you will manage approximately 20–30 projects simultaneously at different stages of completion. Projects can range from supplying a single machine to coordinating complex multi-product installations involving bespoke brackets, conveyors, and externally sourced components integrated into customer production lines.

In This Role, a Typical Day Will Look Like:

  • Coordinating multiple customer projects from order through to successful delivery and installation

  • Managing purchasing activities and supplier communications for bespoke and standard components

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customer Service teams

  • Building and maintaining project timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Supporting commercial negotiations and supplier cost management activities

  • Communicating regularly with customers to provide project updates and ensure a positive experience

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies

  • Managing project documentation and maintaining accurate system updates

The Essential Requirements of the Job Include:

  • Previous experience coordinating “build-based” projects involving equipment, engineering products, or physical components in a B2B environment

  • Experience within purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier coordination activities

  • Strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence in learning and using ERP or business systems (SAP experience is advantageous)

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and external suppliers

Nice to Have

  • SAP experience

  • Smartsheet experience

  • Exposure to cost analysis or budget tracking

  • Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, or engineering-related projects
