Role Summary: Reporting to the Location/Satellite/Territory Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for planning and overseeing location projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and to all stakeholders’ satisfaction. The Project Coordinator will track, forecast and report on project progress; including metrics and challenges, and communicate regularly with all stakeholders regarding project issues, decisions, and progress. The Project Coordinator ensures goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, team member performance, quality, and safety.

Exciting work you will do:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify the goals and requirements of each project
  • Collect the necessary information to start a project
  • Develop project strategy plans
  • Coordinate truck delivery and pickup schedule
  • Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications
  • Create and maintain an open quote log for tracking purposes
  • Create and manage documentation, reports, and pricing records for projects
  • Verify data and analyze to suit the direction of the project
  • Track, forecast, and report on project progress including metrics and challenges
  • Work with Sales, Quotations, and Operations to implement/manage changes to ensure project goals are met
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its life cycle
  • Meet with stakeholders regarding project issues, decisions, and progress
  • Utilizing a CRM for entering project updates and communicating with fellow associates
  • Host start, mid, and post-mortem meetings to review a project from start to finish, assessing project strengths and areas for improvement
  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance
  • Manage and track product returns
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • Work Experience: 1 years’ experience in project coordination, logistics coordination, or related fields
  • Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Excellent report-writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Organization Skills: Excellent work ethic, good verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead projects of various sizes
  • Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally/handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers
  • Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Qualifications we prefer but don’t require:

  • Work Experience: 3 years’ exp. in project coordination, exp. using project management software
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Knowledge of Smartsheets or MS Project
