This Project Coordinator intern role supports with project management. As such, intern guides potential collaborators through our certification program which includes sourcing, screening, testing, rate negotiation and database updates, and is also responsible supporting with job requests that come in and placing assignments with the right resources.
Work setting: On-site from Consolação, Sao Paulo office
Position responsibilities
Provide support on different phases of interpretation projects
Screen external candidates and contact potential resources (interpreters, translators, reviewers, proofreaders, brand captains, etc.)
Support the on-boarding process (setting up the linguist in our system, compilation of documents, assistance with contracts, instructions for the new linguist), ensuring that all on-boarding tasks are handled on time
Keeping an updated database with all the relevant information on linguists
Understand and abide by individual project instructions
Assist with the execution of projects with keen attention to detail, resulting in a successful event, meeting or appointment
Negotiate rates on a broad scale or on a project-by-project basis with contract interpreters
Comply with internal regulations, processes and procedures in line with ISO standards
Issue POs for vendors
Ensure deadlines are met with the linguists according to projects
Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
Essential skills required
Be able to sign an internship, therefore must be enrolled in an educational institution who can work with NUBE for the internship agreement
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an asset
Excellent attention to detail
Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
Willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive on success
Effective time management skills
Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows, Gsuite, Slack, Confluence, Notion)
