
Reporting to the Director, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Accessibility, and Anti‑Racism (IDEA‑AR), the Coordinator, Education and Learning provides coordination, administrative, and operational support for equity‑, anti‑racism‑, and accessibility‑focused education and learning initiatives across Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). The Coordinator supports the planning, scheduling, delivery, and follow‑up of education activities, and maintaining the internal program databases related to IDEA-AR team activities, including education, consulting, advisory, and policy support work. The role maintains education workflows, coordinates logistics, tracks activities, prepares summaries, and supports accessibility in learning delivery. This position operates in a complex health‑care environment and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and cultural humility. The role supports analysis, evaluation, and strategic decision‑making by providing operational and data support and escalating issues as appropriate.
As a Project Coordinator you will be doing the following:
Education & Learning CoordinationCoordinating logistics for equity‑, anti‑racism‑, and accessibility‑focused education, including scheduling, registrations, facilitator coordination, materials, and session delivery.Supports delivery of education sessions, including operational staff and medical staff, ensuring alignment with education pathways and Continued Professional Development requirements where applicable.Coordinating accessibility supports for learning activities, including interpretation, accommodations, and accessible materials.Managing the equity email inbox and other general inquiries.
Project & Program SupportSupporting assigned education projects by tracking timelines, maintaining documentation, and monitoring deliverables.Preparing briefing materials, summaries, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports to support planning and decision-making.Maintaining organized records, calendars, trackers, and shared documentation across multiple initiatives.
Evaluation & Reporting SupportSupporting evaluation and reporting through attendance tracking, feedback collection, data maintenance, summary reporting, impact assessment, data interpretation, and generalMaintaining and analyzes internal program databases related to IDEA-AR team activities, including education, consulting, advisory, and policy support work.Ensuring data accuracy and flags data quality issues or notable patterns for review.

QUALIFICATIONS:Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or in a field related to the specific project(s), supplemented by a minimum of three (3) years’ recent, related financial analysis and planning experience in a large, complex service organization or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.-Experience in three distinct areas must be exhibited: financial analysis, project planning/management and technical expertise relating to the specific project(s).ROLE SPECIFIC EXPERTISE:
-Strong coordination, organizational, and administrative skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.-Working knowledge of project coordination, including timeline tracking, documentation, meeting coordination, and follow-up.-Ability to support evaluation and reporting through data collection, attendance tracking, feedback compilation, and summary preparation.-Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of reports, briefing notes, and presentations.-Sound judgment in responding to interest holder needs and escalating issues appropriately.-Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, shared document platforms, and calendars.-Ability to work accurately and discreetly in a fast-paced environment.-Demonstrated cultural humility and experience supporting work involving equity deserving groups and sensitive subject matter.-Experience working with program databases and tracking systems, including data quality checks and routine analysis.-Ability to translate quantitative data into clear summaries and visuals for nontechnical audiences.-Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Working Conditions
