Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Bristol, UK

Onsite/Hybrid: Predominantly Office Based (flexibility with working from home options)

As a Project Coordinator at Geoquip Marine, you will be at the heart of operational planning with diverse responsibilities including recruitment, coordinating logistical requirements and documentation, and managing global mobility.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure all personnel requirements are fulfilled across assigned assets operating internationally
  • Transfer the operational teams to the external crew management service for deployment
  • Crew administration, including checking special compliance issues and working closely with the team to ensure all information is updated and accurate
  • Provide regular updates, ensure effective communication, and liaise with internal and external resources and resolve any issues that may occur
  • Secure timely and appropriate crewing of the vessels according to the needs of specific projects

Geoquip Marine is a geotechnical data acquisition company safely delivering offshore geotechnical site investigations and engineering services to clients worldwide.

Headquartered in Switzerland with offices and a geotechnical laboratory in the United Kingdom, we are a specialist offshore geotechnics service provider primarily focusing on heave compensated drilling, sampling and in-situ testing. Our in-house designed drill rigs operate in water depths from 10m to 3500m.

Besides downhole sampling and testing, we also provide a number of seabed in-situ testing tools, including our 200kN (20 tonne) seabed Cone Penetration Testing (PCPT) systems capable of acquiring continuous data up to 50m below the seabed.

We are at the forefront of deep water drilling developments for offshore geotechnical purposes, currently operating a 120t drill rig capable of handling 2500m of drill pipe and a 150t drill rig capable of handling 3500m of drill pipe. These spreads are capable of handling up to 6m of heave compensation and have a full suite of downhole geotechnical sampling and in situ testing tools.
