MOVATI Athletic is a leading organization in the fitness industry with a strong commitment to service excellence and growth. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of multiple construction projects. Working closely with senior leadership, project managers, consultants, contractors, and external partners, this role helps keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with technical, budgetary, and operational requirements. This role brings strong oversight across the full construction lifecycle—from early design and planning through construction delivery and final turnover. The role supports day to day coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication while gaining mentorship, industry insight, and hands on experience in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

Role:

  • Support site reviews by assessing layout feasibility, logistics, utilities, and early construction risks.

  • Contribute to due‑diligence activities, including reviewing geotechnical and environmental inputs with consultants.

  • Assist in preparing site evaluation summaries and documentation for leadership decision‑making.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and contractors throughout all phases of construction.

  • Monitor schedules, milestones, RFIs, submittals, and overall project progress to keep work on track.

  • Help review change orders, scope adjustments, and alignment with design intent and construction standards.

  • Identify and support resolution of field issues, quality concerns, and coordination gaps between trades.

  • Maintain organized project documentation, action logs, meeting notes, and vendor/equipment tracking.

  • Coordinate owner‑supplied equipment, delivery timelines, installation readiness, and vendor integration.

  • Support facility turnover by assisting with commissioning, deficiency management, and operational readiness reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a construction‑related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working on active construction sites and engaging with field teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel inter‑province as required.

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 per year

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
