As a Project Coordinator Communities within our Public Health and Communities Directorate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting projects that improve health, wellbeing, and resilience for local residents. You’ll work collaboratively across teams and with partners, helping to deliver work that really makes an impact.

Your role and responsibilities

No two days will be the same in this role. You’ll support the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across the Public Health and Communities directorate, working closely with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders across the Suffolk system.

  • Support and coordinate projects that contribute to Public Health and Communities priorities.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners, including district and borough councils, health partners, and the voluntary sector.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to help develop, deliver, and evaluate system-wide projects.
  • Collate, analyse, and present data and information to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Prepare written reports and present information to a range of audiences.
  • Ensure equality, diversity, inclusion, information governance, and data protection requirements are met.
  • Identify risks and support the development of mitigation actions.
  • Work flexibly across functions to respond to changing priorities and emerging issues.
