The Project Coordinator is accountable and responsible for reporting, maintaining, and expediting key areas of the project cycle.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and organize activities surrounding the architectural millwork project cycle
Monitor each project from order entry to completion
Ensure that identified issues are addressed in a timely manner
Partner with all functions, especially Manufacturing or supplier to organize and support critical aspects to meet customer delivery
Support the Project Management team by capturing/interpreting/inputting/maintaining sales orders; Input/participating in production meetings; Maintaining/updating all project information through ERP System; shipping schedules; Project/product expediting; Monitor/maintaining critical project/program timelines; and coordinating shipments and deliveries
Management of order entry data, manufacturing, and shipping documentation
Develop competencies and technical skills focusing on the design, detail, quality, and engineering of our products
Maintain and manage individual project schedules through assistance in coordinating manufacturing, shipping, and installation
Providing shipping instructions as required, including customer shipping specifications
Provide customer service, sales support, and backup to the Project Manager
Assist in the completion of submittals and RFIs, gathering product data and material samples as required.
Maintain and update running inventory reports for team and customer and distribute as required
Review, monitor and report project costs real time as compared to the approved estimate.
Upload and organize various field reports and other information on internal or external web-based sites
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
2 + years of administrative/project coordination experience
Must have the ability to demonstrate experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets utilizing MS Office programs
Intermediate to expert level of MS Word and Excel is required
Familiarity with MS PowerPoint is a plus
An understanding of MRP fundamentals is preferred
Highly effective computer skills, with demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems
Experience in wood/metal manufacturing environment is a plus
Must be able to work independently while multitasking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Organizational skills and team player approach is critical

Hourly Pay Range $24.00 - $31.25 annually, dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay
Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
