JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary

Provides administrative support for various projects and assignments aligned with functional processes and services. Duties include basic project administrative support including routine document preparation and correspondence, calendar/meeting scheduling, travel and event arrangements, expense reporting, supply management, and other administrative needs.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assists in planning and organizing project activities for various business functions; collaborates with internal and external parties to assist with organizing various components needed to support business projects.
  • Conducts basic support for business projects; may support the design/development, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, training for projects.
  • Facilitates general project administrative support including routine document preparation and correspondence, calendar/meeting scheduling, meeting minutes, travel and event arrangements, expense reporting, supply management, and other administrative project-related needs.
  • Identifies and reports departmental operational issues and resource needs to appropriate leadership.
  • Retrieves data from a variety of sources for the purpose of complying with financial, legal and/or administrative requirements.
  • May present information on administrative department procedures, services, regulations, etc. for the purpose of orienting personnel and/or disseminating information to appropriate parties.
  • May coordinate work efforts across third-party vendors or internal staff to execute against business requirements, develop and monitor project metrics, and facilitate ongoing process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of administrative support and/or project management experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Ability to create clear, accurate, complete, and concise reports.
  • Ability to effectively lead small meeting and capture concise notes and action items.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work cross-collaboratively across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience/skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Health care/managed care experience.
