Job Description

Colliers (NASDAQ, TSX: CIGI) is a global diversified professional services and investment management company operating through three industry-leading businesses: Commercial Real Estate, Engineering, and Investment Management. With greater than a 30-year track record of consistent growth and strong recurring cash flows, we scale complementary, high-value businesses that provide essential services across the full asset lifecycle. Our unique partnership philosophy empowers exceptional leaders, preserves our entrepreneurial culture, and ensures meaningful inside ownership — driving strong alignment and sustained value creation for our shareholders. With $5.7 billion in annual revenues, 24,000 professionals, and $109 billion in assets under management, Colliers is committed to accelerating the success of our clients, investors, and people worldwide.

The Colliers Engineering and Design team specialises in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning and urban design. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in our Perth Office. You will undertake and co-ordinate the administrative functions of projects to support the Engineers and Project Managers to deliver projects successfully for clients. The aim of this role is to take the administrative functions away from engineers and designers so they can focus on client management and technical work.

Specifically:

  • Project Coordination & Delivery: Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of projects, supporting Engineers to ensure milestones, deadlines and quality standards are achieved across the project lifecycle.
  • Contract & Commercial Administration: Manage project administration including proposals, project setup, contract documentation, tender processes, progress claims, invoicing, cost reporting, variations, authority fees and debtor management.
  • Stakeholder & Authority Management: Liaise with clients, contractors, authorities and internal teams to coordinate approvals, service applications, project communications and construction activities.
  • Project Systems & Continuous Improvement: Maintain accurate project records, financial and HSEQ systems, coordinate team logistics, and identify opportunities to improve project delivery, processes and team efficiency.

Qualifications

  • You must be a quick learner, problem solver and be determined in follow-up coupled with high attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to effectively manage priorities and work on various projects at any one time
  • Have good situational awareness and ability to quickly recall project status and where tasks are up to without the need to constantly refer to notes
  • Ability to interpret and communicate basic technical information to clients, contractors and other internal and external team members.
  • Assisting Project Managers to plan and manage projects through involvement in all levels and stages of the project delivery (in the context of providing administrative support).
