Job Description

Our client is a general contractor in the commercial construction industry, based in Orange County, CA. They're hiring a Project Coordinator to manage document control and financial tracking on active construction projects. This person will work closely with project teams handling billing, compliance, and payroll documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage preliminary notices and lien releases for active projects.
  • Collect and monitor certified payroll documentation for compliance.
  • Administer insurance documentation, including OCIP and CCIP programs.
  • Maintain labor compliance records and reporting.
  • Prepare and process AIA percent complete billing.
  • Support general project accounting and document control functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in project accounting or project coordination within commercial construction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior accounting and document control experience within the Commercial Construction Industry
  • Timberline/Sage, Textura, and Procore software usage is a plus
  • Experience working for a General Contractor preferred
  • An understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
  • Must be extremely organized, accurate, possess high level of attention to detail and be able to perform -successfully under pressure and in a timely manner.
