You'll support and execute Gibb Group operations for onshore & offshore energy projects, managing day-to-day activities while developing expertise in maintaining, servicing and renting offshore safety equipment, whilst managing and developing client expectations and relationships.

The Project Coordinator will play a central role in planning, organising, and monitoring project activities across the Immingham site. Working closely with project managers, operational teams, suppliers, and clients, you will ensure that all project tasks are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving, communication, and structured coordination.

What you’ll be doing

Operational Support & Project Coordination

  • Assist in developing work plans, timelines, schedules and documentation.
  • Track progress, identify potential risks or delays; escalate and communicate any issues where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support compliance and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities and act as the central point of communication between senior management and technicians.

Team Coordination & Development

  • Support resource coordination, including equipment, materials and workforce.
  • Submit status updates, meeting minutes and progress reports when required.
  • Assist with cost tracking, invoicing support and budget monitoring.
  • Uphold and promote health, safety and environmental standards in all activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency.
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients, third-party contractors and internal departments to ensure deliverables are met.

Commercial Support & Risk Monitoring

  • Support budget tracking and assist with cost optimisation initiatives under senior guidance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Monitor operational risks and implement approved mitigation strategies.
  • Support contract administration and assist with documentation of scope changes.

Business Development Assistance

  • Support tender preparation by providing operational input and technical documentation.
  • Assist with client relationship activities and participate in project presentations.
  • Help develop supplier relationships within assigned geographical or functional areas.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and best practice documentation.
  • Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a project coordination or administrative role, ideally within maritime, energy, engineering or related industries.
  • Experience from a rental and service background ideal but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills across all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using project management or ERP systems (desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively.
  • Understanding of HSE principles (advantageous).
