Job Category: FacilitiesJOB SUMMARY:  The Project Coordinator primary responsibilities include assisting the Sr. Project Manager/Director of Finance with the coordination of Capital improvement projects for the RSCVA.  The Project Coordinator will assist in record retention and management of documentation related to multiple Capital projects such as bids, contracts, blueprints, permits, and scheduling of project related appointments.  Ensure that documentation is maintained that capital improvements are conducted in accordance with best practices, and local, state and federal guidelines. Work Knowledge/Duties and ResponsibilitiesEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Enrolled and in the process of completing a bachelor’s degree in courses related to engineering, architecture, architectural design.
- Familiar with fundamentals of project management, may assist in renovation phases.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to coordinate documentation on numerous Capital projects.
- Basic knowledge of architectural building systems.
- Proficient in MS office.
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English both verbally and in writing.

The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, RSCVA, was established in 1959 as the Washoe County Fair and Recreation Board. The RSCVA acts as a marketing organization for the county to promote convention and tourism business.

Unlike other convention and visitor bureaus across the country, the RSCVA owns and operates several facilities designed to draw out-of-town visitors.

The mission of the RSCVA is to attract overnight visitors to hotels and resorts throughout Washoe County through effective marketing, productive meeting, convention and event sales and efficient and effective facility operations, thereby enhancing the economy- and quality of life- of Northern Nevada.
