Job Description

The Project Coordinator will collaborate with a variety of a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, supplier quality, production planning & buying teams, logistics and finance.

8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday-Friday) Hybrid

Compensation:

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $73,920 - $97,885. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate the smooth tracking, intake, and implementation of outsourcing projects, engineering changes, tooling replacement and global sourcing initiatives.

  • Constantly guiding & following up with teammates to ensure teammates are the project timelines are clear, concise, easy to follow and up to date with the latest action items, assignees and anticipated date of completion.

  • Ensure all relevant project documents are updated and easily accessible.

  • Prepare project status reports using project management software, Power BI and Microsoft Project tools.

  • Support issue resolution relating to suppliers, delivery delays or quality concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations and sourcing standards.

  • Analyze project data and identify process improvement opportunities

  • Assist teammates with project management workflow questions/concerns

  • Set up complex sourcing projects utilizing project management software tools.

  • Assign cross-functional teammates to individual tasks. Ensure the definition of done is clear and understood for each item.

  • Set milestones & timelines

  • Guide and train teammates as to how most effectively communicate using established tools.

  • Manage and support sourcing projects using various project management tools, including Wrike, Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI and Jira.

  • Schedule and/or participate actively in project meetings taking detailed notes and updating project plans/trackers to ensure efficient follow-up and execution of actions.

  • Support the delivery of status updates and reports to internal customers, project teams, leaders, and third parties at an agreed upon cadence, creating decks and other project materials as needed.

  • Monitor project risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to keep projects trackingto expected outcomes.

  • Support the overall information flow of project information and decision points, communicating

  • effectively with key team members and partners

  • Understand project success metrics and track project status, budget, and delivery, advising of delays and revised delivery dates or costs as required.

  • Measure project outcomes and analyze data to assess the project's impact on and delivery to the

  • key stakeholders.

  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • 2+ years of Project Management experience, preferrably in the manufacturing industry.

  • Sound knowledge of and demonstrated experience applying project management principles to moderately complex projects.

  • Good technology proficiency including experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Wrike or similar project management systems.

  • Rounded project management skills including the ability to create detailed project plans, define scope, and establish timelines/milestones.

  • Sound customer service orientation, ensuring satisfaction of internal and external customers and consistent communication throughout projects.

  • Solid time management and organizational skills, coordinating internal and external resources, creative problem-solving when obstacles arise, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple deadlines and keeping others organized.

  • Good interpersonal skills to establish professional relationships built on mutual trust and respect, foster a shared sense of purpose in project teams, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors and foster collaborative working relationships across a diverse Production and cross-functional project teams.

  • Great communication skills, (written, verbal, listening and presentation) able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and present regarding project progress and risks.

  • Business acumen,critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to use and analyze data to drive informed decisions, problem-solve issues and leverage data and learnings to support continuous improvement.

  • Good presentation and facilitation skills to present project-related updates, foster discussion regarding project plans and elicit contributions and discussion from stakeholders.

  • The ability to travel as required for project related needs.

  • Experience within the electrical power industry, with particular knowledge of medium and high voltage equipment
