Velaz Solar & Roofing is a leading provider of residential solar and roofing solutions, dedicated to delivering sustainable, cost-effective clean energy and exceptional project outcomes. As we continue to expand our impact in the renewables and environment sector, we are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our on-site team in Distrito Nacional, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of projects and maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating project schedules, crews, and timelines to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Tracking materials, deliveries, returns, and inventory to support project operations
- Facilitating clear communication between clients, field crews, and internal teams
- Adapting to schedule changes and resolving project-related challenges promptly
- Utilizing Excel and project management software to organize and monitor project data
- Supporting construction and field operations with administrative and logistical tasks
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
- Experience communicating effectively with clients, field crews, and internal teams to coordinate work
- Professional working proficiency in both Spanish and English
- Already authorized to work in the Dominican Republic
- Availability to work Saturdays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a project coordination role or in construction/field operations support
- Experience using a CRM system
- Prior experience in the solar, roofing, or construction domain
