Project Coordinator – Permanent – South Metro Depot

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time Project Coordinator in the Proactive Streetlights team.

The Proactive Streetlights team is comprised of both project and contract professionals working as one team to deliver successful outcomes. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical and data management skills, who can leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making and enhance project performance.

The purpose of the position is to support effective and efficient project or program delivery outcomes through workingwith all relevant stakeholders, including project and program managers, cross functional stakeholders etc, to successfullymanage and ensure the delivery of a portfolio of concurrent projects for internal and or external customers. To ensurethat these projects / initiatives are delivered to agreed criteria, with commercially competitive standards for safety, cost,timeliness, quality, scope and customer satisfaction.

This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. Your Role in Action

• Deliver projects to the agreed scope, time, and cost without compromising quality, while performing detailed projectanalysis to support these outcomes.
• Accurately identify stakeholders’ needs, respond with empathy, and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills andintegrity.
• Assist and program managers in supporting the budgeting, estimation, scoping and resourcing of projects through theapprovals process in accordance with Western Power’s project methodology, standards, processes, and complianceframework.
• Ensure that all project / program documentation is completed appropriately. Analyse project and works performancedata (including financials, quality, and schedule data) to advise all relevant stakeholder including and programmanagers on optimising performance and delivery of project outcomes.
• Prepare cyclical project / program reporting (e.g. Status Reports, KPIs, monthly and quarterly reports) using enterprise systems, tools, and templates. Ensure all agreed reports and deliverables are on time and written to a highstandard.
• Ensure service providers are delivering to milestones as contractually agreed.
• Manage, continuously improve, and innovate project / program administrative systems, and provide advice onprocess and methodology issues.
• Work with, and report on project and program managers to ensure data is accurate and complete in the project management tool suite.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• A tertiary qualification in project management, business systems or a relevant discipline, or extensive and demonstrated practical expertise knowledge and industry experience.
• Demonstrable capability and experience in program and /or project planning, integration, and communication in autility industry or similar, with strong attention to detail.
• Sound communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and building rapportand gaining consensus.
• Demonstrable capability and experience in the relevantproject management discipline or area with applied knowledge in either of the following disciplines: estimating,civil, structural, building services engineering, architecture,human resources etc.
• Demonstrated experience in a project office or projectmanagement environment in a relevant project management discipline or area with strong experience inplanning and scheduling, project reporting, documentcontrol and business analysis.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software,project management systems and other organisationalsystems as required.
