Requirements

• 
  Read the technical and administrative specifications of the project to be executed;
• 
  Acquire the necessary technical and administrative information from the persons involved during the submission;
• 
  Obtain blueprints and specifications for construction and compare them to bid plans;
• 
  Report changes to professionals and claim costs;
• 
  Read and understand prime contract terms, conditions, and requirements to ensure compliance throughout project execution;
• 
  Draft notices for disputes, change orders, and contractual claims as required
• 
  Support the project cost accountant with budget tracking, cost reporting, and financial documentation;
• 
  Obtain licenses and permits as needed for the execution of the work;
• 
  Draft contracts and agreements, negotiate terms and award them to subcontractors;
• 
  Develop the prevention program requested for CNESST and monitor it on site;
• 
  Establish the schedule (dates, main stages of construction, constraints, methodology) and / or the critical path of the project and monitor it weekly;
• 
  Inform the superintendent of the project and discuss with him and the director of the proposed methods;
• 
  Place orders for critical materials, negotiate prices and prepare contract documents, in collaboration with the construction manager, for subcontractors;
• 
  Coordinate and participate in various meetings;
• 
  Establish and maintain a professional and continuous positive rapport with the client, etc.;
• 
  Travel is to be expected.

• 
  Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project coordination;
• 
  Master of MS Office and MS Project software;
• 
  Strong management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills;
• 
  Shows initiative and leadership;
• 
  Team Player;
• 
  Must be able to work onsite daily;
• 
  Must be eligible and able to obtain a Federal Security Clearance.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is
$60,000-$105,000
. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity. Base salary is one component of EBC’s comprehensive total rewards offering, which may include performance-based incentives, extended health and wellness benefits, retirement savings programs, and career development opportunities.
