Position Title: Project Coordinator

Seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with air/ocean freight forwarding experience to manage shipment coordination, milestone tracking, client/vendor communication, and ensure smooth project execution from booking to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and hands-on knowledge of freight forwarding processes, documentation, and shipment coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate air and/or ocean freight shipments from origin to destination
• Track shipment milestones and provide proactive status updates to customers and internal teams
• Communicate with carriers, airlines, ocean lines, trucking partners, customs brokers, and overseas agents
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation
• Assist with booking, routing, scheduling, and shipment planning
• Support customs clearance coordination and resolve shipment delays or exceptions
• Maintain accurate records in TMS, ERP, or freight forwarding systems
• Escalate and resolve operational issues quickly and professionally
• Work closely with operations, sales, customer service, and warehouse teams
• Ensure shipments are executed in compliance with customer requirements and company SOPs

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or project coordination
• Experience with air freight and/or ocean freight operations
• Strong understanding of shipment documentation and forwarding workflows
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with logistics systems such as CargoWise or similar platforms preferred
