WSP is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Glastonbury. This is a hybrid position.

Your Impact

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across project planning, design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity coding structures, schedule logic, and baseline schedules.
  • Review contractor schedules and schedule updates for compliance with contract requirements and scheduling best practices.
  • Perform schedule quality reviews, critical path analysis, float analysis, and evaluate schedule performance against established baselines.
  • Analyze schedule variances, delays, and scope changes, and provide recommendations to project teams and leadership.
  • Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA), delay evaluations, and schedule impact assessments in support of change management and claims resolution.
  • Partner with project teams to identify schedule risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain reliable forecasts through project completion.
  • Lead schedule recovery planning efforts and conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule alternatives.
  • Prepare schedule reports, executive summaries, dashboards, and graphical presentations for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in project controls, progress, and schedule review meetings and support overall project controls reporting.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience developing and managing CPM schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling principles, scheduling best practices, and schedule analysis techniques.
  • Experience developing and maintaining resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
  • Experience reviewing contractor schedules, evaluating schedule performance, and supporting contract change management.
  • Experience performing Time Impact Analyses (TIA), schedule impact assessments, and delay analyses.
  • Experience supporting project forecasting, risk assessment, and recovery planning.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, reporting tools, or schedule dashboard development is a plus.
  • Experience on transportation, infrastructure, heavy civil, building, or large projects is preferred.
  • AACE PSP, PMP, Primavera P6 training (102/106), or similar professional certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $120,900-$147,120/year

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
