Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Manager Reporting with a strong specialization in Project Reporting to join our team on a transformational giga-project in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the aggregation of project controls data, synthesizing cost and schedule analytics, and directing the delivery of executive-level project reporting. You will act as the single point of truth for project performance metrics, providing leadership, PMC, and client executives with the visibility needed to make critical decisions.
Executive & Stakeholder Reporting: Lead the design, development, and delivery of all high-level executive dashboards, monthly/weekly progress reports, and ad-hoc presentations for PMC leadership and the client.
Integrated Data Synthesis: Collaborate with Cost Management, Planning/Scheduling, Risk, and Commercial teams to aggregate, analyze, and synthesize project performance metrics into cohesive reports.
KPI & Performance Analytics: Establish and track project key performance indicators (KPIs), utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies to identify trends, performance variances, and potential forecast slippages.
System Integration: Oversee the integration of project management systems (e.g., Primavera P6, EcoSys, Power BI) to automate reporting pipelines and ensure data integrity across the project.
Change & Variance Analysis: Analyze the impact of change orders, claims, and potential risks on the baseline schedule and budget, ensuring accurate narrative reporting on mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a dedicated team of project controls engineers and reporting specialists, setting high standards for data accuracy, clarity, and scannable report design.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Project Controls, with at least 5 years explicitly dedicated to managing comprehensive reporting structures on mega-infrastructure or giga-scale programs.
Technical Mastery: Advanced expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and data visualization tools (specifically Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboard platforms) linked with Oracle Primavera P6 and cost databases.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; a proven ability to translate complex, raw engineering and financial data into clear, concise corporate narratives for C-suite review.
Strategic Thinking: Highly analytical mindset with the ability to identify systemic project issues through data trends and articulate proactive solutions.
Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or AACE certifications (PSP, EVP, CCP).
Prior experience leading project controls or reporting functions within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region on Vision 2030 Giga-Projects (e.g., NEOM, The Line).
Extensive experience working within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) or Management
