This position is for Mozambique LNG project.
This role is within the MZLNG Onshore Project Services team and reports to the Onshore Project Service Manager. The role is based in Afungi site and is rotational. The role requires interface with all functions in onshore team, Upstream and Home office functions.
Reporting of project progress status, cost opportunities and threats, change management
• Co-ordination of Change Management processes in relation to site construction activity
• Co-ordination of Risk Management processes
• Verification of EPC Contractor Construction progress, invoicing and reporting deliverables (Project Controls)
• Provide assistance to the Onshore site planning teams to co-ordinate schedule interfaces associated with Construction Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication activities
• Support Project cost function is developing and maintaining accurate cost forecasts
• Supporting preparation of presentation and reporting materials relevant to site and project activities
• General support to Onshore Project Services and Site Management
Providing Project Control support including; tools, reports and deliverables consistently and accurately for Site Construction Management, N+1, N+2. General support to Onshore PMT and overall Project Controls team.
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Business management or similar
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in major oil and gas projects, within Project Controls functions
• Major Oil and Gas project developments knowledge and experience, with Partner and Government reporting interfaces
• Excellent organizational ability and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Effective communication and proficient presentation skills
Knowledgeable and experienced with cost engineering principles, schedule and planning principles and methods
