Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tender integrated schedules and cost estimates.
  • Build project schedules and project budgets using approved cost and scheduling tools.
  • Maintain the project schedule and cost forecast throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze schedule and cost trends and provide forecast updates to the project team.
  • Maintain registers of actual, committed, and potential schedule/cost risks.
  • Monitor cost movements against scope, progress, previous forecasts, and productivity factors to validate estimate accuracy.
  • Communicate schedule, cost, and risk status to project stakeholders and support mitigation actions.
  • Prepare internal and external project status reports.
  • Support change order calculations and ensure schedule/cost updates are reflected in relevant systems.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure alignment between approved project financial data and accounting records.
  • Support project closeout, claims, and tender activities.
  • Oversee the planning function on the project, where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with project controls standards, procedures, and WBS requirements.
  • Support accurate and timely reporting of budgets, actuals, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with functional cost owners to identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed and support EHS requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement and lean activities to enhance process efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably with financial or project controls training.
  • Max 5 years of experience in planning and/or project controls on large turnkey projects.
  • Experience as a project planner on at least one turnkey project.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Controls tools, especially Primavera, SAP, Unifier, and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of cost control processes for turnkey projects.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, forecasting, and cost control principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially in Excel Automation.
  • Ability to interpret project documentation and technical information.

Desired Characteristics

  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
  • Knowledge of forensic analysis on turnkey projects.
  • Strong analytical, Presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of ownership and accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and functional stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic project environment.
  • Experience working in turnkey project environments is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with process improvement and lean practices.
  • Willingness to travel, as required.
