Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build tender schedules and cost estimates
  • Support tenders and oversee project planning
  • Develop project schedules and budgets in relevant tools
  • Maintain project schedule, cost forecasts, and actual/committed cost registers
  • Monitor cost movements, productivity, scope, and progress against forecasts
  • Analyze trends and provide schedule/cost forecasts
  • Maintain schedule and cost risk registers
  • Ensure accuracy of budgets, actuals, forecasts, and change order estimates
  • Update systems to reflect current cost and schedule status
  • Report project status internally and externally
  • Communicate cost, schedule, forecast, and risks to project teams and cost owners
  • Present financial and project control data in reviews
  • Collaborate with PMs, Finance Controllers, cost owners, and third parties
  • Support project closeout and claims
  • Ensure compliance with global standards, WBS, processes, procedures, and tools
  • Ensure quality of project controls reporting
  • Reconcile approved project financial data with accounting books
  • Comply with quality procedures and address non-conformances promptly
  • Support cost reduction strategies with functional teams
  • Ensure efficiency of the project cost control team
  • Identify standardization/optimization opportunities and support lean improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate commitment to health and safety

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning department on large turnkey projects
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in projects providing cost controlling on large turnkey projects
  • Strong knowledge of planning and use of Primavera
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills
  • Comfortable in hybrid working conditions
  • Ability to live in Ankara

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of cost control function on large complex turnkey projects
  • Knowledge of Grid Solutions and GIS substations
  • Knowledge of forensic analysis on large complex turnkey projects
  • Analytical skills to use data to forecast outcomes
  • Clear communicator with strong communication and influencing skills
  • MS Project and unifier knowledge
  • Cost estimating and forecasting
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
