PCS Engineer
Location: Athens, Greece
Reporting: Senior PCS Manager
Hill International is seeking a junior Project Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in Athens. This role involves working closely with the PCS management and other stakeholders to monitor and control project costs, schedules, and risks. The successful candidate will contribute to the success of complex construction projects by ensuring that all project control functions are effectively managed and aligned with project goals.
Performance Monitoring: Analyze project performance data (KPIs) and prepare reports on progress, productivity, and variances.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report on risk status throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast future costs.
Collaboration: Work with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate project tracking and reporting.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and project control best practices.
Reporting: Contribution to the preparation of detailed cost and schedule reports to stakeholders on a regular basis.
Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including baselines, budgets, and status reports.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
2+ years of experience in project engineering in the construction industry.
Experience with large-scale infrastructure or construction projects is preferred.
Knowledge of Primavera and/or project control principles, EVM, forecasting, and risk management will be considered an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project teams and clients.
PMP, PMI-SP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Professional knowledge of the English language
The candidate should be based in or be eligible to work in Greece and be fluent in the Greek language
