Summary
The Project Controls Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across Quality, Engineering and Operations. This role maintains project schedules, calendars, meeting records, action logs, and, with the support of Finance, budget trackers; follows up on commitments; and alerts leaders to delays, cost concerns, and unresolved issues. Working with project owners, the coordinator tracks required reviews, approvals, and documentation to support compliance with company and quality standards.
· Maintain project plans in Microsoft Project (or equivalent), including milestones, dependencies, critical path, deadlines, and assigned owners.
· Track budgets, actual spending, and projected costs; flag variances for leadership review.
· Coordinate calendars, project meetings, and required reviews.
· Prepare agendas, document decisions, and distribute meeting notes with clear action items, owners, and due dates.
· Follow up with Quality, Engineering and Operations leaders to keep commitments and deliverables on schedule.
· Maintain project documentation and track required quality checks and approvals.
· Provide concise status updates highlighting progress, risks, overdue actions, and decisions needed.
· Escalate issues that could affect schedules, budgets, quality, or company standards.
· Strong organization and follow-through; proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
· Clear written communication skills.
· Experience in coordinating projects in a manufacturing or operational environment.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical hours are Monday through Friday; flexibility may be required to support operational needs.
