Your Impact

  • Support the delivery of Ecology, EIA, and heritage projects across British Columbia, ensuring effective financial and schedule performance.
  • Implement and maintain project controls processes aligned with contractual commitments, regulatory obligations, and corporate requirements.
  • Guide Project Managers through forecasting, budget management, and project rebaselining when performance variances arise.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, accruals, and cash flow, proactively identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Contribute to project risk assessments, contingency planning, and performance recovery strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, earned value metrics, and management reports that support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to validate progress, scope, deliverables, and financial forecasts.

  • 7-9 years of progressive project controls, cost controls, or project financial management experience within consulting, engineering, environmental, or infrastructure environments.
  • Experience supporting ecology, environmental assessment, permitting, archaeology, heritage, or natural resource projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Oracle financial systems, Excel, forecasting methodologies, and financial analysis, including variance reporting.
  • Experience using MS Project and/or Primavera P6, with ERP or project financial systems experience considered a strong asset.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle delivery, change management, risk management, and performance measurement.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, technical specialists, business leaders, and clients.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
