Job Description

Your tasks

  • Drive all commercial processes within customer team to improve profitability
  • Setup and maintain correct, plausible and competitive project calculations for complex products with several production plants involved
  • Monitor project profitability frequently and support identifying countermeasures in case of plan or target deviations
  • Derive target cost for acquisition/development projects and support identifying measures to achieve targeted cost structure
  • Participate in business planning activities of customer team/product group through providing and analyzing of relevant commercial information (maintain acquisition and development project calculations in integrated planning system, analysis of series projects etc.)
  • Ensures compliance of group, business unit and regional requirements of commercial processes
  • Prepare accurate monthly customer team P&L analysis that include actual to plan/target bridge analysis, future result development estimates and risk/opportunity assessments
  • Evaluation and regular tracking of cost improvement measures of the customer team
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis, special business case evaluation and cost benefit analysis

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years work experience in technical/engineering or Controlling/Finance function
  • Ideally profound Controlling or Project Development Process knowledge
  • Advanced skills in MS-Excel
  • Very good analytical skills and understanding of numbers
  • Good communication abilities
  • Self-driven and structured working approach
