At Frontmatec, we design and deliver advanced processing solutions for the global food industry. We are now looking for a structured and analytical Project Controller to support financial performance, transparency, and governance across our project portfolio.

This role is for a detail-oriented professional who thrives at the intersection of financial control, project delivery, and data-driven decision-making.

About the Role

As Project Controller, you play a critical role in ensuring robust financial, planning, and performance control across our projects.

You work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, providing independent insight into project financials, schedules, and risks. Your focus is to create transparency, ensure consistency, and support informed decision-making—ultimately helping to protect project margins and strengthen governance.

Operating within Frontmatec's project management framework, you support projects from contract handover through execution to final delivery, contributing to a structured and disciplined project environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure robust financial control across projects, including cost, revenue, margin, and cash flow tracking, as well as accurate forecasting and cost-to-complete
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, and progress, providing clear visibility on deviations and critical path performance
  • Deliver structured and consistent reporting (dashboards, KPIs, and review inputs) aligned with governance standards
  • Identify and track financial and schedule risks and opportunities, ensuring early visibility and proactive escalation
  • Act as a business partner to Project Managers, providing data-driven insight and constructive challenge
  • Support continuous improvement of project controls, reporting quality, and standardisation across tools and processes

Your Background

  • Experience in project controlling, financial analysis, or a similar role within a project-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, and cost control
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
  • Structured and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience from engineering, manufacturing, or project-based environments is an advantage
  • Familiarity with project management frameworks, governance models, and planning tools
  • Understanding of commercial and contract management principles
