We are looking for a Project Controller for our premises in Portugal, in our Perafita office, who will be acting as a business partner responsible for all financial and commercial matters; actively driving individual project performance.
Lead complex accounting activities by independently researching, preparing, and evaluating non‑routine accounting entries, identifying reporting issues early, and proposing well‑reasoned solutions.
Drive planning and financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with a strong understanding of cost structures, business drivers, and deviation analysis versus budget or prior periods.
Support contract and tender activities by providing financial input, analyzing contract terms and conditions, and advising on basic contractual structures in collaboration with legal when needed.
Actively manage project and business risks by identifying financial risk exposures, contributing to risk reviews, recommending mitigation measures, and supporting project reviews during execution.
Enable strong project financial outcomes by supporting Project Managers, driving project cash flow, and overseeing currency, tax, and related financial risk considerations.
Strengthen internal controls and financial integrity by understanding reporting requirements, recognizing control gaps, ensuring segregation of duties, and communicating control deficiencies accurately and timely.
Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance
Minimum 2 years in project controlling and Power and/or T&D industries experience of advantage.
Good knowledge of SAP.
Customer and business oriented, strong commercial and communication skills.
Portuguese fluent. English advanced
