The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing project schedules, monitoring fabrication progress, reviewing vendor performance and equipment delivery forecasts, identifying risks and delays, and delivering high-quality reporting and schedule analysis to support project management decision-making.

This is a full-time, site-based position requiring close collaboration with yard management, fabrication contractors, equipment vendors, inspection teams, project controls personnel, and client representatives based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify schedule delays, emerging risks, inconsistencies, missing information, and potential impacts on fabrication, inspection, equipment delivery, and project milestones.
  • Compare reported progress against actual physical progress observed in the fabrication yard.
  • Prepare weekly schedule analysis reports, forecasts, and progress updates.
  • Lead weekly progress review meetings and present schedule findings, risks, trends, constraints, and recommended actions.
  • Develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations, Excel reports, dashboards, trackers, charts, and management summaries.
  • Interface regularly with fabricator schedulers, vendor schedulers, project controls personnel, production teams, inspection teams, and expediting personnel.
  • Expedite critical equipment and materials through direct engagement with vendors, including visits to supplier facilities across Europe when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedule concerns, vendor commitments, action items, forecast changes, and recovery plans.
  • Participate in meetings with international teams, including client management based in the United States.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly analytical professional with solid experience in project scheduling and industrial project execution who meets the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling and schedule analysis.
  • Previous experience expediting equipment, materials, or vendor deliverables for major industrial projects.
  • Experience supporting large-scale fabrication, modularization, construction, energy, petrochemical, LNG, oil & gas, power generation, or similar industrial projects.
  • Strong experience using Primavera P6, including schedule logic, critical path analysis, dependencies, float analysis, forecasting, and delay identification.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analyzing large datasets and developing reports, trackers, and dashboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing executive-level presentations.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and other project scheduling tools.
  • Ability to interpret fabrication progress, vendor manufacturing data, inspection status, procurement information, and equipment delivery schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and effectively communicate findings to contractors, vendors, inspectors, and senior management.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Spanish and/or German language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, vendors, reporting requirements, and project phases simultaneously.
