Job Title: Project Controls Intern

Anticipated Salary Range: $23 to $27

As a Project Controls Intern, you will support project teams by tracking costs, analyzing schedules, monitoring productivity, forecasting financial performance, and identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes. Working closely with project managers, operations teams, and trade partners, you'll help implement controls processes that drive schedule adherence, budget performance, and overall project success. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of project delivery methods, gain exposure to earned value management, production planning, forecasting, change management, and financial reporting, and develop a deep understanding of how major construction projects are planned, executed, and controlled from start to finish. Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented problem solvers who enjoy turning data into actionable insights and collaborating with teams to achieve exceptional results.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $23 to $27. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program. Preferred majors/concentrations in Construction Management Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred.
• Passion and desire to work in the construction industry
• Strong communication skills, including a willingness and comfortability to create and maintain relationships by means of cold and warm phone calls.
• Goal oriented, with a focus on personal development
• Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred. Passion and desire to work in the construction industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work optimally with minimum supervision.

Nice to Have

• Prior work experience, internship preferred but not required.

Candidates from Aurora University will be reviewed first for this role.
