Job Description

Imagine a future where offshore wind operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively through strong project leadership and trusted contractor partnerships.

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of offshore operations by leading projects and managing contractors and external expenditure. You’ll act as a key interface between site and back-office functions, ensuring all project scopes are integrated into site plans and executed with a strong focus on safety, cost optimisation, and operational excellence.

Welcome to Operations
You’ll be part of Operations where you, together with your colleagues, will support offshore wind farm operations by delivering on-site projects, contract management, and marine infrastructure activities. You’ll work closely with site teams and multiple back-office functions across the region to ensure smooth execution of projects and logistics.

As a team, we work collaboratively across disciplines, put safety first in everything we do, and take shared responsibility for improving yield, cost efficiency, and operational performance.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • safely delivering all site projects outside of planned and minor corrective WTG works
  • defining and clearly communicating project demand to procurement teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness of requirements
  • contributing to supplier selection by evaluating and recommending the most suitable contractors proposed by procurement
  • managing contractor performance, costs, and contractual compliance
  • coordinating with site stakeholders to align schedules, training requirements, and warehouse readiness for deliveries
  • supporting procurement planning and financial forecasting in collaboration with the Head of Site
  • processing and managing purchase orders (PO) in line with internal procedures
  • acting as escalation point for service or equipment issues, proactively resolving contractor-related complaints
  • coordinating centrally managed projects to minimise downtime and ensure safe operations
  • managing marine infrastructure and BoP service activities, including logistics capacity
  • driving initiatives to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • bring a solid technical background combined with experience in contract management, procurement, or project management
  • have hands-on experience in offshore operations, ideally within BoP (Balance of Plant) or similar
  • have a proven track record in delivering projects and managing contractors in safety-critical environments
  • demonstrate strong commercial awareness and experience with external expenditure and cost control
  • are confident in defining requirements and translating operational needs into clear procurement scopes
  • communicate effectively across all levels, from site teams to back-office stakeholders
  • work in a structured and proactive way, taking ownership of issues and driving them to resolution
  • hold a relevant degree (technical, nautical, supply chain) or equivalent practical experience.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
