Purpose

• The Project Construction Manager oversees the overall phases of construction project, ensuring they are completed in compliance with HSSE, Quality, on time in line with schedule requirements and within budget.
• You are involved throughout the lifecycle to implement the construction strategy.
• You provide the necessary Construction expertise to support the Project Management Team to make key strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Your responsibilities include planning, scheduling and coordinating activities on-site, while also managing resources, subcontractors, and personnel assigned in the project at site.
• You collaborate across project functions and levels to address design changes, resolve issues and optimize construction efficiency.
• You monitor budgets and implement cost control measures to optimize resourse utilication and mitigate financial risks.
• You are proactive in identification of potential hazards or obstacles and implement appropriate measures to minimize impact on project outcomes.
• You prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and addressing any concerns.
• You ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.
• You manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• You foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Education

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field with sound and comprehensive understanding of construction principles, project management methodlogies, and HSSE regulations.

Experience

• 10+ years of progressive and combined hands-on construction experience and project management expertise in the construction, energy or related industry.
• Possess a combination of construction experience, project management skills, leadership abilities and proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects.
