The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Construction & Commissioning Manager (PCCM) to support the delivery of HVDC projects in France.

Based in Massy and working closely with project and site teams, you will be responsible for leading construction and commissioning activities from project handover through execution and close-out.

You will play a key role in ensuring safe, high-quality delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project risks, and supporting successful project execution in line with contractual, schedule, and budget commitments.

This is an opportunity to work on complex energy infrastructure projects that are helping to accelerate the energy transition while collaborating with experienced professionals across Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Project Management.

Your Impact

  • Lead and coordinate all Construction & Commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle, from project handover through execution and close-out.

  • Manage the transfer from Tender to Construction, reviewing scope, schedule, budget, risks, opportunities, and execution strategy.

  • Organise and lead Construction & Commissioning kick-off activities, ensuring project readiness and stakeholder alignment.

  • Drive mobilisation activities and support the development and implementation of site execution plans.

  • Lead constructability reviews and ensure construction strategies are effectively implemented throughout project execution.

  • Coordinate with the Site Manager to ensure effective planning, resource allocation, site infrastructure development, and execution readiness.

  • Monitor construction progress, costs, forecasts, resource requirements, and schedule performance, implementing mitigation and recovery actions where required.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project procedures, applicable regulations, and HSE requirements.

  • Manage interfaces between Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, HSE, and Project Controls teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Coordinate contractors and subcontractors to support safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.

  • Support financial management, forecasting, reporting activities, and the management of Non-Budgeted Costs (NBCs).

  • Provide regular project updates to the Project Director, Construction Management, and key stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.

  • Ensure the effective mobilisation and deployment of project resources while balancing performance, schedule, and cost objectives.

  • Ensure HVDC Construction & Commissioning processes, procedures, and best practices are implemented and followed across the project.

  • Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned, feedback, and constructability reviews during project execution and close-out.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.

  • Proven experience in Construction Management, Construction & Commissioning Management, Project Construction Management, Site Management, or similar leadership roles within major infrastructure, energy, or EPC projects.

  • Experience delivering HVDC projects, substations, transmission projects, power generation facilities, or large-scale EPC projects.

  • Strong construction and site execution background with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience managing contractors and subcontractors within complex project environments.

  • Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and construction planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and engage stakeholders across multiple functions and disciplines.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to maintain a strategic overview while remaining focused on detailed project execution.

  • Strong quality, safety, and delivery mindset.

Languages

  • Fluent English and French are required.
