THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Co-ordinator to support the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects across our venues.

Reporting to the Asset Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, while acting as a central point of coordination between teams, contractors and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co-ordinate project activities from planning through to completions
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones and deliverables
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and track action items
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Support budget tracking, procurement and invoice processing
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders
  • Assist with risk management, compliance, and health & safety requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

You'll be a detail-oriented co-ordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple projects. You will also have

  • Experience in project co-ordination, administration or a similar role.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    Bonus Points for

    • A qualification in project management or a related field
    • Experience with project management systems
    • Knowledge of procurement, contracts or construction/event environments

    We're responsible for ensuring the successful operation of Forsyth Barr Stadium and the Dunedin Centre (a multi-purpose entertainment, conference & events hub including the Dunedin Town Hall and the Glenroy Auditorium) and we are your central hub for premier events and entertainment in Dunedin.

    As a Council Controlled Organisation of the Dunedin City Council, we have full governance and management responsibility to act as stewards on behalf of the owners in managing these assets.

    The scope of what we do includes:

    > Business development to secure events

    > Planning, hosting and delivering great events

    > Asset and facilities management (e.g. hosting, food and beverage, ticketing operations)
