Job Title: Project and Change Execution Manager

Corporate Title: Vice President

Location: Mumbai, India

  • The Finance Strategic Analytics (FSA) Group COO function that primarily drives Chief Finance Office (CFO) change initiatives.
  • This role is for a Business Subject Matter Expert (BPSME) in FSA team to deliver strategic, regulatory, and process optimization book of work in partnership with Finance (RTB), Front Office, Technology, Desk Quant Strats and other relevant stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

of the key responsibilities is as follows:

  • Drive onboarding of Bank’s trading books across different asset classes (e.g. IB Fixed Income, IB GFX, Corporate Bank) on in-house strategic Trade Capture, Valuation as well as P&L platforms
  • Frequently liaison with Technology, Desk Strats, Operations and Finance (RTB) in multiple locations to drive change initiatives
  • Partner collaboratively with cross-functional teams, execute plans to achieve objectives while assessing and mitigating risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of project milestones
  • Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships and influence stakeholders to support change agenda
  • Articulate end user demand/s and translates the business requirements into strategic technology asks that are aligned to target state architecture
  • Develops and/or supports the creation of material that deliver change recommendations, along with the rationale and justifications for these recommendations.
  • Supports UAT, go-live activities including but not limited to cut-over activities and operational readiness, and provides post-go live support during “warranty” period
  • Ensure successful user adoption of the value and strategic outcomes aligned to the initiatives including successful transition into the organisation’s processes and technologies.

Your skills and experience

You must have 10+ years of experience with good knowledge of financial products, PnL concepts, ledger build and accounting with a desire to work on new system applications and tools.

Domain Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant Finance P&L and Ledger close processes, knowledge of Front-to-back system flow and trade life-cycle event
  • Financial Product know-how
  • Good to have Experience of delivering change or improvements to processes

Communication Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across various seniority levels
  • Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to visualize complex topics to converse with stakeholders.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Analytical and pro-active thinking
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines under time pressure
  • Dedicated, self-reflecting and willing to learn

Educational Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant, MBA, Degree with a concentration Finance, Accountancy or Banking
