We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Cargo & Breakbulk Operations Manager to lead our project cargo and breakbulk operations team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of project cargo logistics while managing our trucking team to ensure the successful delivery of complex shipments. Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all project cargo and breakbulk operations, ensuring timely and efficient execution of shipments.
• Lead and mentor the trucking team, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their shipping requirements and develop tailored logistics solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with regulations and operational excellence.
• Utilize project management principles to plan, execute, and monitor the progress of project cargo deliveries.
• Analyze and optimize logistics processes for project cargo and breakbulk shipments, identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, documentation, and performance metrics to ensure compliance and accountability.
• Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers and carriers to enhance capacity and service offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project cargo and breakbulk operations, with a strong background in logistics management.
• Proven track record in managing complex logistics projects, including planning and execution.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of freight forwarding processes and relevant regulations.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to navigate complex shipping challenges.
• Proficiency in logistics software, project management tools, and tracking systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
