Job Description

Our client is seeking a Project Billing Specialist for a temporary assignment supporting a fast-paced, project-based organization.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in project billing, project accounting support, or accounting administration who enjoys working with project managers, tracking financial information, and ensuring invoices are accurate and submitted on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process client invoices based on contract terms and project activity
• Support project setup and maintenance within the accounting system
• Coordinate with project managers to gather billing information and supporting documentation
• Maintain project and billing records with a high degree of accuracy
• Track invoice status and assist with follow-up activities as needed
• Review project-related documentation and support financial reporting processes
• Assist with accounts receivable and collection follow-up
• Provide general administrative and accounting support to the project and finance teams

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounting, project accounting, or related administrative support
• Experience working in a project-based business environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
