Job Description
It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!
We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.
The Project-Based DCX Event Manager will drive initiatives that enhance our organizational culture, promote employee satisfaction, and support our strategic goals. The successful candidate will initiate, manage, and refine employee engagement programs and events to foster a positive workplace environment.
- REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES
- End-to-End Event Management - Plans, executes, and closes out large-scale employee events with full ownership — from logistics and production to on-site troubleshooting and post-event reporting.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management - Builds and manages relationships with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to ensure alignment, meet delivery targets, and drive measurable event outcomes.
- Budget & Financial Oversight - Tracks event budgets against forecasts, manages vendor payments, flags overruns, and delivers accurate post-event reconciliation within approved spend.
- Employee Engagement & Experience Design - Designs meaningful event touchpoints that foster inclusion, recognition, and a positive employee experience tied to measurable satisfaction outcomes.
- Project & Program Management - Manages multiple workstreams simultaneously — maintaining timelines, tracking action items, documenting risks, and delivering programs on time and within scope.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Leads end-to-end planning and execution of the DCX Year-End Party, including strategic planning, F&B and AV production oversight, registration management, on-site troubleshooting, and post-event reporting, ensuring zero major operational failures and less than 5% variance from the run-of-show.
- Partners with external agencies and vendors to drive a 70% RSVP conversion rate and achieve a 4.5 or higher employee satisfaction score, coordinating invite segmentation, outreach timing, and vendor KPIs tied to key experience metrics.
- Manages a detailed event budget under the guidance of the E&H Director, tracking line-item actuals versus forecasts, flagging overruns, coordinating vendor payments, and ensuring final spend is within ±2% of the approved budget with full reconciliation submitted within two weeks post-event.
- Attends and actively participates in all site inspections (oculars) and cross-functional alignment meetings—both onsite and virtual—to verify logistics, document risks, drive agenda and action item tracking, and ensure all parties are aligned ahead of event day.
- Orchestrates employee talent engagement throughout the event lifecycle—designing onsite interaction touchpoints, fostering inclusion and recognition—with a target of at least 80% of employees reporting feeling “valued” in the post-event survey.
- Performs analogous tasks as needed.
