The National Center for Deaf Health Research (NCDHR) is seeking an individual for the Project Assistant III position as Deaf Weight Wise (DWW) Coach, expected to run through September 2029, contingent on funding. This is a remote role, paid on a time-as-reported (hourly) basis.
This role plays a key role in guiding and shaping strategic implementation of the DWW healthy lifestyle program. Key focus areas of the program include nutrition, physical activity, weight management support, and coaching for NCDHR’s subcontractors
This role involves designing and leading advanced biweekly and monthly group facilitation sessions where you will apply your deep knowledge of DWW principles and evidence-based coaching to empower subcontractors, ensuring consistent program fidelity and high-quality execution in their designated areas.
The position requires substantial experience in an advisory capacity, motivational interviewing and data collection experience to maintain detailed documentation and ensure effective communication to support the DWW program. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining rigorous documentation standards and fostering high-level communication strategies to optimize the DWW program's effectiveness and inform strategic decision-making.
